ITB on Journey to Riau-Kepri 2024

ITB on Journey to Riau-Riau Islands (ITB JTR) is an annual community service event organized by the Riau-Riau Islands Malay Culture Unit of ITB (UKMR ITB). Established in 2009 under the name Ganesha Jalan Jalan (GJJ), ITB JTR has consistently disseminated information about higher education particularly about the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) to high school students in the provinces of Riau and the Riau Islands. Beyond being an information provider, ITB JTR aims to inspire and motivate students to pursue higher education through its dedicated members. Recognizing the evolving needs of high school students, ITB JTR 2024 has introduced a series of events including TryOut sessions and ITB Unveiled Day to better meet these demands. Through these initiatives and the visitations conducted in January 2024, ITB JTR successfully engaged over 2,000 students and more than 40 schools across Riau and the Riau Islands. The success of ITB JTR 2024 was made possible by the generous support of our community, alumni network, and the sponsorship from 7 companies.
