ITC | Applied Earth Sciences (AES) department

We are one of the departments at the Faculty of Geo-information Science and Earth Observation at the University of Twente, The Netherlands. Our research focusses on global societal challenges where knowledge and expertise in the area of surface and deep Earth processes play a key role, such as in geohazards, disaster resilience and recovery, sustainable energy resources such as geothermal energy, and responsible exploration and exploitation of critical mineral resources. We offer two specializations in our international M-Geo Master's course: 'Applied Remote Sensing' and 'Natural Hazards and Disaster Risk Reduction'.
