Innovation, Technology & Design - University of Miami

The Bachelors in Innovation Technology & Design program, an initiative of the University of Miami New Century Educational Incubator, will prepare students to research, analyze, prototype and design innovative products and processes from concept to launch. ▪ Strategic Alignment: Innovation and Entrepreneurship is a University Strategic Initiative, as well as excellence in STEM Education. ▪ Demand: Employers, students, and parents have expressed enthusiasm for a program preparing students for the jobs of the future. ▪ Academic Innovation: Builds on and extends existing innovative teaching initiatives (PETAL, TALIS, General Engineering) ▪ Strong Foundations: Core courses and design challenges provide disciplinary foundations from engineering, business, and design. ▪ Builds on Existing Strengths: Innovation, Technology and Design is in the DNA of the Engineering discipline.
