ITE Northern California

The Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE) is an international organization with nearly 17,000 members in 92 countries who are focused on transportation and traffic engineering and planning. Members come from public agencies, private firms, academia, and transportation-equipment manufacturers and suppliers. ITE helps with research, planning, design, implementation, operation, policy development and management for all modes of ground transportation. Through its products and services, ITE promotes professional development of its members, supports and encourages education, stimulates research, develops public awareness programs and serves as a conduit for exchange of professional information. The ITE NorCal Section is part of the ITE’s Western District, and includes public-sector, private-sector and student members from the Sacramento area north to the Oregon border. It is the “go to” resource when Northern California is looking for contacts and information to address transportation issues and challenges.
