iTeachCommunity is an organization that delivers a program of language training via Skype. Through one-on-one lessons, learners develop their reading, oral and listening skills. In remote rural communities we focus on training teachers, who in turn train their students. In this way, the program seeks to maximize the benefits beyond the individual and encourage self-sufficiency at the grassroots level. When conversations take place across great geographical distances, transcending national borders, magic happens! In the process of learning new languages, cultural goodwill is fostered and friendships blossom.
