Institute for Professional Development and Retraining of Top Managers and Specialists in Information Technologies and Radioelectronics (Institute of Information Technologies, IIT) was established in 2001 on the basis of the Faculty for Staff Development and Retraining. Two faculties of the Institute offer state-of-the-art training and research facilities, including those located at the University. Practical classes are organised in special computer laboratories united into one University local network and connected to the Internet.
IIT offers programmes of the following types:
- First degree programmes for the graduates of vocational education (shortened programmes based on curriculum integrated with vocational programmes);
- Retraining of professionals with higher education;
- Professional development of top managers and professionals in the field of IT and radioelectronics;
- Training of blue-collar personnel.
