Itrim US (acquired by Monj Health)

Itrim was founded in Sweden in 2003, based upon real-world and scientific evidence that portion controlled healthy eating, combined with exercise and coaching can have fast and lasting results. Driven by her own 66lb weight loss journey, Itrim founder and exercise expert Birgitta Thörn, partnered with business experts and medical professionals to form what is now a world leader in sustainable weight loss. Itrim US was launched in 2011 and opened multiple company-owned centers in the San Francisco Bay Area. In 2014, Itrim added custom employee worksite programs, collaborative health care partnerships and turn key health club programs throughout the US.
