The original Pizza Nostra was founded in Toronto in 2015 by brothers Andrea and Marco Grande. Andrea began his pizza-making career at his cousins' pizzeria in New Jersey, a local institution that has used the same recipe for more than 70 years.
Andrea brought that recipe back to Canada. Andrea, Marco (an artisan butcher), and Marco’s wife Lily have since spent years perfecting their brand of New York style pizza.
Their Port Credit pizzeria began to grow in popularity gaining many local regulars. In 2021, childhood friends living in East Gwillimbury began to wonder how they could enjoy Pizza Nostra closer to home.
Voilà, Casa Nostra was born. This new best-in-class frozen pizza is made from the same high-quality ingredients and recipe as every Pizza Nostra pizza, only it’s ready in just 10 minutes.
