ITS Student Chapter is a non-governmental association established in Greece and is supported by the Department of Civil Engineering University of Patras. The association established in September2018, has as founding members more than 30 highly-skilled and motivated active researchers, in fields related to Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) and Smart cities applications. The members' activities are not limited in research condudted in Greek Univerities, but also abroad.
We are currently working on establishing a wide network of active members and achieve our goals, which are the following:
• The exchange of knowledge and scientific practices in the framework of Intelligent Transport Systems and Smart Cities
• Free formation of scientific and social ideas
• Contribute in raising the spiritual level of its members through dialogue
• Participation in research and innovation programs
• Organize and participate in conferences, workshops, informative days, educational visits and publicity events
• The creation and management of a Forum and database for scientific or professional development reasons
• The development of collaborations with relevant student associations, both within and outside Greece
• The interconnection of the members of the association, students and young scientists with the labor market and professional support bodies (eg TEE, ITS Hellas)
