About International Technology Security and Innovation (ITSI)
In coordination with the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Economic and Business Affairs, Arizona State University leads the International Technology Security and Innovation (ITSI) Project—a strategic U.S. initiative designed to strengthen secure semiconductor supply chains and expand global capacity in assembly, testing, and packaging (ATP). ITSI works with trusted institutions in key partner nations across the Americas (Costa Rica, Mexico, Panama) and the Indo-Pacific (Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam) to develop technical infrastructure, advance human capital, and align academic and policy environments with U.S. semiconductor security priorities. This program reinforces America’s global leadership in technology, supports economic resilience, and safeguards critical supply chains that power the future of innovation.
