So you want to know a little bit about me... Obviously, you'll learn a lot more by exploring my blog, but let's get some of the basics out of the way. I was born and raised in a stereotypical, middle-class suburb outside of Philadelphia. A town so on-the-nose that the official slogan, is "Everybody's Hometown". (You cannot make this stuff up...) Being a mixed child in a place that was overwhelmingly white was... a challenge to say the least, and I guess part of the reason why I ultimately fled to Los Angeles as soon as I had the chance. After being here for a few years, I've learned a lot about myself, my purpose, and the world. I would be lying if I said that I wasn't still just figuring it out though.
