ITS Serbia

Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) is innovative approach to transportation that combines information and communication technologies with electronics, transport, traffic and civil engineering. This collaboration allows for improved planning, construction, development, use, maintenance, and management of transport networks. ITS offers a range of advanced technologies that assist various groups of users to travel safely, more efficiently, and in a more coordinated manner. These technologies are not limited to a single transport mode; they can be applied to all passenger and freight modes of transport such as road, rail, waterways, air and their combinations (multimodal/intermodal). Serbian ITS Association (ITS Serbia) presents unique national address for all professionals related to ITS. It is Serbian representative in the European network of national ITS association - ITS nationals, thus establishing and maintaining a stable and reliable link to knowledge sources and knowledge sharing communities with Europe and worldwide.
