The IUCN SSC Asian Species Action Partnership (ASAP) is a partnership platform with the aim of averting species extinctions in Southeast Asia. This is a critical region that, without urgent conservation intervention, will lose much of its unique and rich biodiversity. ASAP increases funding, strengthens capacity, builds awareness and catalyses conservation for Critically Endangered land and freshwater vertebrate species. Convened by IUCN SSC, ASAP has grown to be a network of over 200 Partner organisations. ASAP supports organisations with small grant and training programmes, as well as through building connections, providing bespoke support and increasing visibility. The Partnership provides a platform for collective impact and collaboration to conserve species on the brink of extinction.
