The Institute for Urban Variations and the Architectural Systems (IUVAS) was founded as an interdisciplinary research group for the exploration of morphological processes. The goal of IUVAS is to deepen the urban and architectural knowledge, promote exchange and cooperation between the Academy members, development, and institutional sectors. Our aim is to inspire new ideas about the role of research and applied technology, introducing advanced development solutions to the collective critical. IUVAS is also active in the development of urban functional analysis, seismic protection and complex architectural sustainability, with particular attention to the consequences of uncontrolled urbanization, the bio-industry and energy waste.
L'Istituto per le Variazioni Urbane e i Sistemi Architettonici (IUVAS) viene fondato come un gruppo di ricerca interdisciplinare per l'esplorazione dei processi morfologici. L'obiettivo di IUVAS è quello di approfondire la conoscenza urbanistica e architettonica, promuovere lo scambio e la collaborazione tra i membri dell'accademia, dello sviluppo, e dei settori istituzionali. Il nostro scopo è quello di ispirare nuove idee circa il ruolo della ricerca e tecnologia applicata, presentando soluzioni avanzate di sviluppo alle criticità collettive. IUVAS è attivo anche nello sviluppo di analisi funzionali urbane, salvaguardia sismica e sostenibilità architettonica complessa con particolare attenzione alle conseguenze dell'urbanizzazione incontrollata, la bio-industria e lo spreco energetico.
