PolymerSolutions is Tbilisi, Georgia based company, founded in 2012 by a group of Georgian scientists. The company produces biodegradable polymers composed of naturally occurring α-amino acids – PseudoProteins (PPs). Pseudoproteins are suited for a wide range of applications and are increasingly utilized in numerous end-use industries and sectors such as biomedicine, cosmetics, agriculture, food processing, preservation and packaging We offer the biodegradable polymer with beneficial properties which are easy to manufacture, of low cost, biodegradable, thermoplastic and soluble in common organic solvents. Pseudoproteins show excellent tissue compatibility and may support a more natural healing response by attenuating the pro-inflammatory reaction and promoting growth of cells appropriate for tissue regeneration. The Pseudoproteins have important advantageous characteristics over both synthetic and naturally occurring biodegradable polymers such as polyesters and proteins.
