The world needs a new generation of talent teaming up to produce powerful new ideas and wise leaders who balance fame and fortune with the greater good. The world needs heroes. At Illinois Wesleyan, we believe all types of heroes can, and will, be found among our student body. From the ones who grab headlines to those who make unlikely, everyday contributions, we’re challenging everyone to start their origin story at The Petrick Idea Center. By building a state-of-the-art center with fully equipped maker spaces, an amphitheater for pitches and workshops, startup offices, and numerous collaboration spaces, Petrick exists for every major because this is the place for innovation before graduation. This is where collaborative, cross-discipline creativity with a conscience takes place. We take our strengths in the Liberal Arts and combine them with innovation and entrepreneurship. The Petrick Idea Center will become the nerve center for heroes who build new worlds, and the headquarters where their heroic origin story begins. Because heroic new worlds will be built by TITANS.
