Iyanna Foundation is a registered NGO in Tanzania dedicated to empowering youth and transforming communities through education, health, and sports initiatives. By breaking cycles of poverty, reducing teenage pregnancies, and equipping young people with essential knowledge and resources, we help them make informed choices and build brighter futures. Core Programs Chess for Empowerment & Inclusion. Our school-based chess clubs enhance critical thinking, strategy, and problem-solving, reinforcing STEM education. In partnership with FIDE, we support children with autism, improving engagement and social skills. These clubs also serve as safe spaces for mentorship, peer learning, and leadership development, with a strong emphasis on empowering girls. Supporting Young Mothers & Children Teen pregnancy limits opportunities. Our program offers shelter, counselling, and a safe haven for mothers and children.
