Yayasan Istana Zakat Disabilitas Indonesia Foundation was established based on Akta No. 19 dated January 31, 2019 made by Notary HILDA SHOPHIA WIRADIREDJA, SH., MH. and has obtained legal force based on the decision of the Minister of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia Number AHU-0002008.AH.01.04.Tahun 2019 dated February 8, 2019, and has been registered at the Social Service and Poverty Prevention of the City of Bandung with Number: 062/2598-Dinsosnangkis, and West Java Social Service with Number: 062/6176 / PPSKS / 2019.
IZDI has a vision and mission which include:
1. Become the first amil zakat institution in Indonesia that receives and disburses the Ummah funds specifically to disabilities and disability families.
2. The scope of the distribution of ummah funds in the short term to Bandung and its surroundings and in the future can be beneficial to be stabilized throughout Indonesia.
3. IZDI uses the Ummah fund solely to improve the welfare of persons with disabilities and family disabilities.
4. A concrete manifestation of increasing the welfare of people with disabilities through major education, health and welfare programs (PKK)
5. Conducting specialized training on an ongoing basis to disability in order to improve skills.
6. Seek employment opportunities for disability both for private companies and government.
7. Enhancing spiritual quality by conducting training in proper worship procedures.
8. Collaborating with various disability organizations already.
9. Opened employment opportunities for non-disabled persons in the management of the IZDI Foundation to assist the implementation of the Foundation's programs.
10. The IZDI Foundation will hold special officers who will assist the disability in the administrative management.
