J. Robbin Law is a litigation boutique founded by Jonathan Robbin to provide nationwide top-quality legal advice and fierce advocacy to both companies, and individuals. Jonathan pairs his sophisticated commercial practice with superior client service to meet each client’s individual needs and desired outcomes. He listens to his clients, to understand their goals and develop creative and efficient legal strategies to obtain the optimal results for each distinct matter.
Jonathan represents clients in all types of complex business and commercial litigation, as well as appellate matters. He regularly handles consumer class actions in both state and federal court, and frequently litigates and defends claims brought against banks, mortgage servicers, investors, and other financial institutions under the Fair Debt Collection Practice Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act , RICO, TILA, RESPA, ECOA, state law UDAP claims, and a variety of common law servicing related claims.
Jonathan has years of experience working in some of New York City’s top litigation practices, most recently as a partner at Blank Rome LLP, and previously as an associate at both Schulte Roth & Zabel LLP and Zeichner Ellman & Krause LLP. Jonathan graduated from Colgate University cum laude, and from Emory University Law School, with honors and as a member of The Order of the Coif (Top 10%). While at Emory Law, Jonathan was a Notes & Articles editor for the Emory Law Journal, and a member of the nationally ranked Mock Trial team.
When he is not practicing law, Jonathan enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids, skiing, golfing, and watching sports and movies.
