Juniors Academy of Birmingham Sports (JABS) B8 FC

JABS B8 FC began in May 2014 with its vision from its Founder and Head Mohammed Ali with the primary purpose to bring the community youth together through the means of sport. JABS B8 FC Academy is a non-profit entity that provides a football programme for youths (6 years +). The football academy helps to promote and foster enthusiasm for the game within the local community and as a result fuels self-esteem, team work element of competition and leadership skills and encourages a healthy lifestyle. JABS B8 FC also takes it social and corporate responsibility seriously and facilitates workshops, mentoring and training. Consistently we have over 100 players (boys and girls) that are affiliated to the club and training takes place three times a week at Rockwood Academy, Alum Rock, B8 3HG. The sessions are taken by a qualified coach and takes places in the form of warm ups, drills, circuit training and small sided games. The club consolidates the physical aspect of playing football with education. Regular sessions are held to highlight the importance of health and well being by showing the benefits of a balanced diet, and healthy lifestyle.
