Our founder, Annie Ryu, was working on a healthcare venture in rural India when she met Jack. She quickly realized that jackfruit was an underutilized miracle crop with the power to improve the lives of farming families, make our diets more sustainable, and offer a delicious meat alternative that's actually made from real plants.
