Florida's Crown Chapter! The Jacksonville Jaycees were founded in 1922 to provide training in business leadership through projects that serviced the community. Today, the Jaycees are organized into four portfolio areas each with their own focus: Community Development is charged with improving life for the citizens of Jacksonville. Individual Development focuses on helping the individual with their own personal growth. Membership development and Management Development focuses on the sales and managing the business operations of the chapter itself. This is a great area for entrepreneurs to practice their techniques! Our Vision To become the organization of choice for young people, providing direction and leadership to our community and nation. Our Mission To provide young people the opportunity to develop personal and leadership skills through local community service and organizational involvement while expanding the Jaycee movement.
