Unfortunately, Jade Press Ltd ceased to trade as of November 2012. A victim of the falling demand, rampaging over-capacity, and suicidal pricing policies in commercial printing, Jade down-sized on 2 occasions, covering significant redundancy costs on both occasions. The business had a sound customers base, and recovered so the business was making strong profit figures from September 2012. However a "perfect storm" of a quiet period of sales, late-paying customers, and reduced terms from some key suppliers - meant that the Directors were forced to place the business into Administration.
