JaivikHaat Pvt Ltd (JHPL) is a pioneering social enterprise based in Delhi, India, dedicated to creating a sustainable food system by connecting farmers with consumers. It strongly promotes Agroecology as a prefered production system and has the distinction of enabling Innovations such as Participatory Guarantee Systems (PGS) and CETARA-NF. In over 15+ years JHPL has supported more than 3000 farmers and organisations with Capacity building ( governance, collectivisation, regulations, product development and primary market linkage). Founded in 2008 as a propreitorship based firm, it is today a well recognised Social Enterprise of the domain based on Delhi/NCR. Since its inception it has supported various NGOs and Governments efforts at state and national level with successfully building capacity of farmers and providing the first steps towards market linkage. JaivikHaat has made a significant impact on the lives of farmers and consumers alike. By connecting farmers directly to consumers, the company has ensured that farmers receive fair prices for their produce, while consumers have access to fresh, healthy, and ethically sourced food. JaivikHaat envisions a future where Agroecology is the norm, where farmers are empowered, and where consumers have access to nutritious and sustainable food.
