I believe that my unique hybrid of experiences as an entrepreneur, consultant, Magic Circle lawyer, author, musician and charity worker have enabled me to develop the key skills and strengths required to work effectively as a freelance copywriter, brand strategist, consultant and business developer. - Founding and running start-ups has developed my ability to tackle strategic challenges and communicate with a broad range of stakeholders. My role has involved branding, marketing/PR, business development, creating and delivering presentations, forming strategic partnerships, overseeing business operations and negotiating with consumers, B2B clients and suppliers. - My copywriting experience has developed my ability to translate complex concepts into easily-digestible narratives and write in a style that is clear, succinct, persuasive, unambiguous and consistent with the relevant brand. - My business development experience has honed my ability to help companies shape and define their value propositions, identify their target audiences and creatively and confidently pitch their products and services. - My training contract at a leading international law firm honed my attention to detail and ability to write concisely and with a strong sense of structure. It also enhanced my ability to think laterally, work under time pressure, project manage large transactions and network and liaise confidently and professionally with a broad range of clients and other stakeholders. - My experiences as a musician, including my responsibility for marketing and merchandising, developed my ability to think creatively and assess how people are likely to receive and process communications.
