THE JAM MVMT

The JAM MVMT was a Rhythm-based Indoor Cycle Studio Sydney, which unfortunately closed down in July 2023 due to legal issues on the commercial site. This business took clients clients on a physical and mental journey, whilst completing a challenging full-body cardiovascular workout. Bringing together those that want more than just a workout - but a community. The spin room was a dark with LED-lights and a surround sound system - allowing riders to get lost in the music whilst performing upper body movements to the beat and riding in sync with our community. Founded in 2020 by Alicia Portelli. When she was younger her dream was to be a professional entertainer - inspired by her idol, Micheal Jackson. Life took her in other directions, but she found her way into the fitness industry and discovered her passion for motivating others. She got her fitness certifications as a personal trainer & group fitness instructor, and after working in a range of fitness studio’s across Australia - she decided to open her own space - THE JAM MVMT. THE JAM MVMT - was built upon three pillars; Passion is Purpose Individuality through Alignment Change via THE MVMT Our team aimed to push to push boundaries and inspire people during class. Transforming the way you ride, each instructor brings their unique flavour and feel, enabling you to test your limits and build a strong ride foundation. We were located next to Kings Cross train station.
