The James E. Hughes, Jr. Foundation

Rooted in Jay Hughes’ landmark Five Capitals research, The Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the field of family governance and generational well-being. In 2021, The James E. Hughes, Jr. Foundation (JEHJF) was funded, in Jay’s honor and as a gift to him, to advance the field of family wealth management and generational well-being. The spirit of Jay does not reside in a single institution or building. It resides within the individuals that have a burning desire to learn and serve families for the purpose of families flourishing. The foundation is designed to spread the spirit of Jay to as many individuals as have this desire.
