James Warren Tea Ltd, a distinguished tea producer is having a legacy spanning over 160 years, when James Warren has planted his first tea estate near Dibrugarh, Assam. In 1983, the Estates were acquired by Mr. Govind Ruia, a prominent businessman from Manchester, UK. At present, we operate four premium tea estates— Balijan (H), Deamoolie, Thowra and Zaloni which are strategically located in the high-quality belt of the South Bank in Upper Assam covering approximately 2,200 hectares of land. Our estates are renowned for producing both CTC and Orthodox teas, which are popular and enjoyed by connoisseurs in India and across the globe.
