Jané Mateu Foundation

Jané Mateu Foundation, a private foundation, is a recently created non-profit organisation, registered under number 3233 in the Register of Foundations of the Generalitat de Catalunya, which was created with the aim of contributing to the improvement of the quality of life and well-being of people. At Jané Mateu Fondation we firmly believe in the human capacity to build a more equitable and fairer world where each person can be fulfilled by having a dignified life, an integral development and having their basic needs covered. It is with this conviction that we set in motion the foundational activities that will lead us to achieve our objectives. Our preferred field of action is centred on the world of Health, both in the area of direct intervention and research. The foundation was born from the will of Joan Jané Mateu, a Catalan pharmaceutical entrepreneur with more than 40 years of experience and a firm commitment to health and social issues. Joan Jané Mateu's values are based on respect, excellence, commitment, innovation and responsibility, and we are now transmitting these values to society through our Foundation. The Foundation is also born with the great responsibility of ensuring the independence and future of Pharmalink, by taking a stake in its ownership, ensuring the maintenance of the foundational activity and guaranteeing its own business continuity. Always with the aim of giving back to society part of what it has contributed during so many years of work in the world of health.
