In India, students from marginalized communities face significant challenges in their educational journey from their formative years at schools, they often encounter deeply rooted caste-based discrimination, limited access to resources, and a lack of social support that creates barriers to equal opportunities among their counterparts. Even though, institutional policies post independence have aimed at increasing the ‘access’ to school education, the inherent challenge that students from marginalised groups persistently face is ‘meaningfully’ utilising this access to expand their potential and compete with disproportionately privileged counterparts. We aspire to bridge this gap. At Jannat, we’re passionate about making a difference in marginalized communities through education! Our focus is on enhancing learning outcomes and providing targeted support programs that help individuals from these communities become confident, self-reliant, and ready to take on the world.
