JASMEF

JASMEF is the World Bank SME private equity fund project in partnership with Development Bank of Jamaica. The fund has been made possible by the World Bank-Access to Finance for MSMEs Project. Focus on Caribbean SMEs: JASMEF is an SME Impact Private Equity fund investing growth capital into Caribbean SMEs that have committed promoters with high integrity, proven management and scalable business models. JASMEF's geographical focus is on Jamaica, other CARICOM full member independent countries, plus the Dominican Republic. Growth, Jobs & Impact: JASMEF provides Caribbean SMEs with access to growth capital combined with capacity-building and technical assistance in order to enable higher levels of business growth, productivity, job creation and exports. Crucially, JASMEF will also help its portfolio companies enhance their ESG standards and wider positive impacts for their communities throughout the region.
