After 4 years of R&D, we have developed a patented technology that promises an entirely new visual experience! Being implemented in sunglasses, for example, allows the wearer to never be blinded again. Small segments in the lens turn dark depending on the brightness of the light source and allow the entire view to be adjusted to a comfortable degree. This selective darkening is completely autonomous and does not require a controller or battery. It reacts instantly (60ms) and can be applied to numerous applications.
If you have ever squinted into the setting sun whilst driving on a country road or during your beach vacation, you would have experienced how excruciating it is when the sunlight burns your eyes. Or if you have an eye condition such as cataracts or photophobia, you might have had to turn off indoor lights because they were too bright. Similarly, AR glasses cannot be used outdoors because the sun-lit surrounding is too bright, and you cannot see the projected images. This hinders the technology from reaching its full potential. But the list goes on, people following extreme sports such as motor racing or piloting are constantly at risk of being blinded in the next turn or by a laser pointer just before landing, and construction workers trying to guess where the workpiece is because they cannot see anything through their pitch-black welding glasses when not welding.
In these situations, the Flashade, visual technology instantly (60ms) darkens only the glaring light sources. Allowing the wearer to comfortably look into the sun, but also admire the surrounding that has remained invisible with normal sunglasses. The technology even tracks the light source and protects your eye from any glaring or even harmful light. This provides an entirely new visual experience.
