Jazz Nanotech was a pioneering deep-tech company focused on converting industrial low-grade waste heat into clean hydrogen using our proprietary Ammonium Bicarbonate–Reverse Electrodialysis (AmB-RED) systems. Our on-site hydrogen production solutions empowered heavy industries—particularly in steel and process manufacturing—to decarbonize operations using the thermal energy they already generated.
During the COVID-19 crisis, Jazz Nanotech rapidly pivoted its manufacturing capabilities to address the national emergency. In just 11 days, we designed and produced our first oxygen concentrator and received fast-track clearance from the Government of India. Within a month, we had manufactured and delivered 2,800+ oxygen concentrators, reaching hospitals and critical care centers across the country—ultimately impacting over 400,000 lives.
Our efforts received national recognition, including a personal letter of appreciation from the Prime Minister of India, commending the founders for supporting the nation in a time of need.
Following this momentum, Jazz Nanotech built a successful exit through acquisition by Nell Hydrogen, which continues to take our core hydrogen technology forward.
