JCI Lantau

JCI Lantau is an affiliated Local Organization (“LOM”) of JCIHK China. JCIHK China and the local chapters are all non-profit organizations. The members are between the age of 18-40, who make full use of their leisure hours to work for the betterment of the community and themselves. 'Lead Further, Lead Together'. For each of us, “Lead Further” means enriching insights for a lifelong career by equipping an all-rounded skill set. For JCI Lantau as a whole, “Lead Further” means succeeding the existing system of JCI Lantau and inheriting it among members. “Lead Together” is to get citizens involved through different leadership training projects. It is also consistent with JCI Mission: 'To provide leadership development opportunities that empower young people to create positive change.' We wish to create more opportunities and possibilities for the chapter and for local active youths. This year, we will launch a flagship project under the brand name - Sustainable Lantau. It does not only provide opportunities that facilitate sustainable development but also relates to leadership development, international affairs and business affairs for local active youths. By implementing a series of events like field trips and workshops, we aim to attract young talents to join our Chapter and share with the world traditional stories of Lantau Island.
