JCI Morocco

The Junior Chamber International (JCI) is a global federation of 200,000 young citizens, aged 18 to 40, divided into nearly 5,000 communities in more than 100 countries around the world. JCI is present in particular within the UN, UNESCO, UNICEF, the International Chamber of Commerce, BNI, WBAF and AIESEC. Adopted in 1951, the creed of the Junior Chamber International, common to the members of the movement around the world, are synthesized in the expression of six principles: We believe : That faith in God gives meaning and purpose to human life; That the brotherhood of man transcends the sovereignty of nations; That economic justice can best be won by free men through free enterprise; That government should be of laws rather than of men; That earth's great treasure lies in human personality; and That service to humanity is the best work of life. The Junior Chamber International of Morocco is the first branch of JCI in Africa and the Arab world. Founded in 1957, JCI Morocco's mission is to contribute to the progress of the national community by offering young Moroccans the opportunity to develop their leadership skills, their social responsibility, the entrepreneurial spirit and the solidarity necessary to create positive changes. JCI exists in 15 cities in Morocco through 20 OLMs (local branches) and with more than 300 active members, with the aim of expanding its presence in the kingdom.
