Every organization (not just families) suffers from some degree of dysfunction. I believe that most of these maladies can be remediated with focus and an enterprise commitment to growing through the mistakes that inevitably occur. Unfortunately, getting a leader to truly own the outcomes of their actions can be problematic, at best. Yet believing in, insisting on and practicing accountable behavior is simply non-negotiable.
