Jenga Afrihub

Jenga Afrihub is a young women led community based organization, inspired by the remarkable stories of cross-border women and girls, moved by the challenges they are exposed to and excited about the untapped opportunities that need to be harnessed with the goal of empowering them to participate effectively in development processes. We create safe spaces for engagement, Opportunities access and skills building for youth and women. The word 'Jenga' is a swahili word meaning build, empower, strengthen and support. Our main aim is to build our communities forward through youth skilling and employability, Cross-border peace and Security, Gender Equality and women empowerment, Technology and Innovation On youth skilling and employability we are keen on co-creating with young people alternative pathways to employability with key focus on post-vocational training support that entails skills-job matching and linkages, mentorship and coaching.
