Jenname Consultancy is a proudly Aboriginal-owned and -led consultancy grounded in cultural integrity, truth-telling, and systems change. Founded by Palawa woman Rachel Dunn, Jenname delivers strategic advice, training, and engagement solutions that centre Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander voices, knowledges, and leadership.
We work alongside communities, governments, and organisations to:
• Drive culturally safe and trauma-informed practice
• Embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives in policy, programs, and reform agendas
• Design and deliver meaningful engagement and co-design processes
• Promote healing, justice, and structural change in areas such as family violence, health, child protection, and education
With a collective of over 70 years of experience across the community, government, and not-for-profit sectors, Jenname brings a deep understanding of the intersecting systems that impact Aboriginal peoples – and a fierce commitment to equity, accountability, and self-determination.
Jenname is named in honour of Rachel’s daughter Jenna Michelle Everett – ‘little bird’ – whose spirit guides our work with purpose and care.
