The JEONJU International Film Festival (JEONJU IFF) is now recognized as the hub of the independent film festival of Asia and the widest window of avant-garde cinema around the world.
Jeonju IFF is held every spring in the traditional city JEONJU. The festival was created in 2000 and JEONJU IFF has begun sailing again towards its 21st edition.
As a pioneer in discovering independent films and talented directors, JEONJU IFF keeps attempting to expand the scope and the role of the film festival under the slogan Cinema, Liberated and Expressed.
JEONJU IFF does produce independent and arthouse films to champion new talents and also take the role of alternative distribution for independent filmmakers.
