Japan Electric Power Information Center, USA

Japan Electric Power Information Center, USA (JEPIC-USA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in 2017. We aim to be a hub of research and international information exchange- enabled by our sister offices in Tokyo, Paris, and Beijing- with a focus on electric power and broader energy and environmental issues for the benefit of the general public in the United States, Japan, and other countries. JEPIC-USA tracks and analyzes relevant developments in the U.S. energy and environmental sectors, such as policy agendas, electricity power markets, regulations, and private sector business models, in order to better inform the Japanese industry and government. However, our efforts also aim to share Japanese advancements with the US. We believe we can enhance communication channels and build partnerships across country borders and among the industry influencers, enabling them to create a future where energy systems are increasingly efficient, affordable, sustainable, and secure.
