Jericho Construction Company Ltd was established in 1974 with the main aim of boosting the participation of indigenous contractors in the building, Civil Engineering and construction industry.
The Chief Executive Chief S.O. Banjo worked as a building foreman between 1954 and 1959 with Messrs P. Comazzi Building and Civil Engineering Contractor based in Ibadan. He left the company to further his education between 1959 and 1963 at the Brixton School of Building in London, now The University of the Southbank. He obtained a Diploma in Building Construction, City and Guilds Certificate in Building Construction and Certificates in Concrete Technology and Builders Quantities.
