Jersey Day is a social cause designed to raise awareness of The Organ and Tissue Authority and Donate Life. A simple concept inspired by the story of Nathan Gremmo, who's young life was tragically lost in an accident in May 2015. Nathan's family chose to give the gift of life to honour the legacy of Nathan's generous personality.
We are asking schools and workplaces to get involved and show their support by allowing students and staff to wear their favourite sporting jersey to school or work.
Right now over 1,400 Australians are waiting for a life-saving transplant. Make your decision count this Jersey Day by joining the Australian Organ Donation Register at donatelife.gov.au. Registration is quick, easy and one day could save up to 10 lives.
