I am a clinical psychologist licensed in Connecticut and New York. I conduct individual and couples psychotherapy with adults. My focus areas include men’s issues, high-achieving behaviors, fathering, work-life balance, trauma, anxiety, depression, insomnia, anger, life transitions, and romantic relationship struggles. I work with individuals in demanding jobs, pursuing high performance in business, academia, healthcare, and the creative arts.
During my clinical training with military veterans, I became passionate about addressing the silent crisis of men’s mental health and continue to specialize in helping men make peace with their inner worlds and guiding them to pursue values-driven goals in work, love, and play.
I believe that entering into therapy is an act of courage. I will take a collaborative and theoretically integrative approach to our work together using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), contemporary psychodynamic therapy, and Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT).
I am also a clinical supervisor for clinical trainees and an expert contributor for Psychology Today.
