Founded in 2018 by Jon H. Levinson, a veteran auctioneer with more than 47 years of experience in the auction industry, JHL Auctioneers LLC is a specialty auction house focusing on commercial and residential real estate. Jon, who is known for providing expert advice to clients throughout the mid-Atlantic region, has earned a reputation as the region’s leading authority on commercial and residential real estate, art, antiques, jewelry and rugs. He spent nearly five decades as an integral part of an auction house that his grandfather founded in 1924 and worked in every facet of the business. Following years of client inquiries and advice, Jon decided to launch his own company. JHL Auctioneers will support sellers to assess options and dispose of assets and will work with clients to buy assets that complement their portfolios. While the auction house is initially focusing on commercial and residential real estate, there are plans for expansion to other assets in the near future.
