تأسست المجلة الأردنية للعلوم التطبيقية في عام 1999, ضمن سلسلتين : العلوم الإنسانية والعلوم الطبيعية. وهي مجلة مفتوحة الوصول و تُعنى بنشر أنواعًا مختلفة من المقالات العلمية المحكمة والعالية المستوى. كما وتستخدم المجلة نظام الكتروني عالمي OJS لاستقبال الابحاث و تحكيمها و نشرها بعد القبول.
The Jordanian Journal of Applied Sciences was established in 1999 in two series: Humanities and Natural Science. It is an open-access journal that publishes different types of peer-reviewed and high-quality scientific articles. The journal also uses the Open Journal system, OJS, to receive the manuscripts, review them, and publish them after acceptance.
