The Junior League of Huntsville is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. We welcome all women who value our Mission. We are committed to inclusive environments of diverse individuals, organizations and communities. Our purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.
The Junior League of Huntsville's projects include Apple Annie, a fundraiser started in 1971; Butterfly Project, a scholarship program for deserving high school girls; BIRTHday Books, which puts a book and information about family literacy in the hands of every child born in the Huntsville/Madison Hospital system (in partnership with the Huntsville Hospital Foundation; ABOLISH Human Trafficking; and projects in conjunction with Girls, Inc., Children First (First United Methodist Church's food security program), Rainbow Rhythm Band, and more.
We look forward to our 3rd annual Book Ball fundraiser in the spring of 2021!
