JMComm advises aviation and aerospace companies on creating and protecting strong brands. Jeff Miller, company principal, is an expert in marketing to the ultra-high-net-worth purchasers of business jets, fractional aircraft shares and related services. Jeff has helped introduce to the market new business aircraft from Piaggio, Learjet, Galaxy Aerospace, Dassault and Gulfstream. He was an early employee of Galaxy Aerospace, leading marketing and public relations and helping that company build a $2 billion backlog prior to its acquisition by General Dynamics in 2001. He led the public introduction of supersonic aircraft pioneer Aerion Corporation in 2004 and guided the public image of the company through its alliance with Boeing in 2019. An active pilot and former aviation journalist, he knows how to communicate to pilots and other aviation professionals. Over more than 30 years in the industry, he has long experience in working with engineers to convey technical stories (supersonic aerodynamics, new avionics, precision turbine manufacturing) in accessible, compelling and memorable ways. Jeff assists senior executives with their public communications, including drafting remarks and presentations, planning press conferences, and arranging interviews. Through affiliations with brilliant designers and videographers, he creates entire marketing campaigns including engaging print and digital communications. Over his long and exciting career, Jeff has had the opportunity to serve as a volunteer copilot on a Smithsonian Institution Grumman Albatross amphibious aircraft and as president of the Kansas Aviation Museum. He has been published in the Wall Street Journal, TechCrunch, Flying magazine and elsewhere. He resides in Ketchum, Idaho and is happy to take client meetings on ski lifts and mountain hiking trails, which are guaranteed to expand horizons and generate creative ideas.
