JMU Student Ambassadors is a group of 180+ undergraduate student volunteers at James Madison University who work with the Office of Admission to welcome prospective students and their families to our campus in Harrisonburg, Virginia. We offer regular campus tours throughout the week in addition to assisting with open houses, out-of-state recruitment receptions, daylong campus visits for high schools students, group tours, and other Admissions events.
Student Ambassadors also engages in several philanthropy and service-based projects throughout the year from awarding the Carrie Kutner Scholarship each Spring to hosting Operation Season's Cheer - a holiday-themed event presented in December, showcasing performing groups from around campus that benefits a nonprofit in the Shenandoah Valley.
