I (Josh, Elephants' founder) have always relied heavily on networking. Whether it's to help myself learn new things, or to help others through introductions, I've always had to maintain a large network of people. As the quantity of connections I had to build grew for work and personal purposes, I realized the quality I could maintain began to decrease.
I built Elephants as a personal tool to help me make sure every new relationship I build is developed intentionally, and that I truly get to know my people. The larger mission for Elephants, therefore, is to enable everyone around us to develop deeper connections and get to know others beyond just the "connect" button.
