Joint University Eco-Business Innovation Award

Eco-Business Innovation Award (eBIA) is a joint-university case competition organized by Environmental Students’ Society, HKUSTSU from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). In the era of sustainability, and the concept of making profit while conserving the environment is definitely the future trend. eBIA has two main goals to develop students’ critical mindset regarding business planning, and encourage innovative thinking by integrating economic profit, environmental and social-friendly elements into business planning. The case involves different residential area development in one of the Agile projects. To achieve sustainability, hybrid of management system and environmental technology is required. Students who join this case competition have to hand in a poster as proposal about their building or operation ideas and a video for elaboration during the Heats entry.
